The par 72 layout evokes memories of time-honored golf as each of the 18 holes is unique in it's nature and deserving of praise. A practice putting green and full service driving range will make your day on the links one in which you will treasure for a lifetime. Challenger Course
The apple didn't fall far from the tree when Skip Wogan's son, Phil decided to try his hand at golf course architecture.
Using all of the knowledge gained from a lifetime of working side-by-side with his dad, Phil built the Challenger course in 1961. This masterfully crafted nine-hole layout has proven to be a demanding test of skill, and the perfect addition to the club. Considered a more difficult tract than the Championship course, the Par 35 layout is demanding, yet provides the golfer with an opportunity to hone their skills on a very competitive landscape. Multiple tee boxes, fairway mounding, and undulating greens make a round of golf on all 27 holes enjoyable for players of all ages and skill levels. Skip would be proud of what Phil has masterfully created and what has become a valuable addition to the golfing experience at Blue Hill Country Club.
